Working with sections

Sections let you group related steps together, giving your guide a clear structure. Think of them as chapters in a book — they help your contacts understand where they are and what's coming next.

Adding a section

In the guide editor, click + Add Section at the top of the left panel. A new section appears with a default name that you can change right away.

Renaming a section

Click the three-dot menu next to the section name and select Rename Section.

Reordering sections

Drag and drop sections in the left panel to change their order. The order you see in the editor is the order your contacts will see when going through the guide.

Deleting a section

Open the section menu and select Delete Section. This removes the section and all its steps. If you've previously published the guide, you can roll back to that version. Otherwise, this can't be undone.

How sections appear to contacts

When a contact is working through your guide, sections show up as collapsible groups. They can see their progress through each section, and the next section automatically expands when all steps in the current one are completed.

This makes long guides feel manageable — instead of seeing a wall of steps, contacts work through one section at a time.

Next steps

Now that your sections are in place, add content to each step.
